Horror film Star Light coming from Butcher Brother and Chainsaw producer

Mitchell Altieri The Night Watchmen

Mitchell Altieri, who made up one half of the directing duo The Butcher Brothers (the other half being Phil Flores), and Jeffrey Allard, who served as an executive producer on the 2003 remake of THE TEXAS CHAINSAW MASSACRE and its prequel THE TEXAS CHAINSAW MASSACRE: THE BEGINNING, are collaborating on a new horror project, STAR LIGHT.

Written by Altiere and Jamal Jenings, STAR LIGHT will tell the story of

a teen whose life is turned upside down when he helps a world-famous pop star on the run from her violent pursuers.

As The Butcher Brothers, Altieri co-directed such films as THE HAMILTONS, THE VIOLENT KIND, and the remake of APRIL FOOL'S DAY with Flores. He will have a co-director on this film as well, but it's not Flores. Lee Cummings will be co-directing STAR LIGHT.

Altieri is producing the film with Allard and Cheryl Staurulakis. Leo Staurulakis and Andrew Mardirous will executive produce.

STAR LIGHT is scheduled to film in Mayfield, Kentucky from October 30th through November 17th.

Altieri and Allard have previously worked together on THE VIOLENT KIND, HOLY GHOST PEOPLE, A BEGINNER'S GUIDE TO SNUFF, and THE NIGHT WATCHMEN (pictured above).
