Horror hits the road in the trailer for anthology Southbound

Last Updated on August 2, 2021

V/H/S/ trilogy producers Roxanne Benjamin and Brad Miska have another anthology film coming your way soon, one entitled SOUTHBOUND that features segments directed by Benjamin, David Bruckner, Radio Silence, and Patrick Horvath.

Its synopsis goes like this:

Five intertwining tales of terror unfold along an endless desert highway. On a desolate stretch of road, weary travelers — two men on the run from their past, a band on their way to the next gig, a man struggling to get home, a brother in search of his long-lost sister and a family on vacation — are forced to confront their worst fears and darkest secrets in these interwoven tales of terror and remorse on the open road.

We have two reviews of SOUTHBOUND here on Arrow in the Head; Chris Bumbray gave the film a 6/10 review, while JimmyO gave it an 8/10. Our readers will get their chance to assess the film in less than a month, as The Orchard is set to give it a VOD and limited theatrical release on February 9th.

A trailer for the film has now made its way online, so if you need to see a little more about it before deciding if you want to check it out, press play on the video below:
