International trailer for Ryuhei Kitamura’s No One Lives; film releasing May 10

Last Updated on October 24, 2023

Last week our man Ryan dropped the news that Ryuhei Kitamura’s NO ONE LIVES will be hitting limited theaters on May 10, including New York, Los Angeles, Chicago, San Francisco, Dallas, Philadelphia, Miami, Boston, Detroit, Houston, Baltimore and more. Today we have a look at the groovy international trailer for the flick and I gotta say it’s looking like it will be a lot of fun.

Kitamura is most notable for helming 2000’s badass VERSUS and 2009’s Clive Barker adaptation THE MIDNIGHT MEAT TRAIN. Our own Chris Bumbray got to check out NO ONE LIVES at TIFF 2012 (read his review HERE) and, although he didn’t seem to dig it very much, I’ve still have hope it will deliver something worthwhile to genre audiences. Check out the international trailer below and see if it looks like something worth getting excited over.

A ruthless criminal gang takes a young couple hostage and goes to ground in an abandoned house in the middle of nowhere. When the captive girl is killed, the tables are unexpectedly turned. The gang finds themselves outsmarted by an urbane and seasoned killer determined to ensure that no one lives.

The film stars Luke Evans, Lee Tergesen, Adelaide Clemens, Laura Ramsey, Lindsey Shaw, America Olivo, Beau Knapp, Derek Magyar, and Brodus Clay.

Look for it in selected theaters May 10.
