Island Zero has a killer premise, check out the poster & trailer

Last Updated on August 5, 2021

One of the upcoming fright flicks that I’m looking forward to the most is a small indie film by the name ISLAND ZERO. The movie is from writer Tess Gerritsen who is – I’m told – the author of many books which in total have sold over 25 million copies. But that isn’t what interests me.

The film has a killer premise involving the inhabitants of an island who must figure out what the hell is going on when one day the ferry from the mainland stops coming. Spooky. Add to that all the phones on the island are dead and bodies start washing up on shore and I was there before even checking out the poster and trailer below.

If you find that premise to be as creepy/cool as I do then check out the poster and trailer below and then let us know what you think of ISLAND ZERO on Facebook, Twitter, and/or Instagram!

ISLAND ZERO synopses:

Inhabitants of a fishing island off the coast of Maine find themselves mysteriously cut off from the outside world after the ferry suddenly stops coming. All the phones have gone dead and every boat sent to the mainland fails to return. When dead bodies turn up along the water’s edge, the hardy band of survivors must find out who, or what is killing them.

ISLAND ZERO is directed by Josh Gerritsen from a script by Tess Gerritsen and stars Laila Robins, Adam Wade McLaughlin, Teri Reeves, and Matthew Wilkas.

The film is currently making the festival runs and there will hopefully be news of a wide release soon. We’ll keep you up to date. Until then you can check out the official site RIGHT HERE.
