Jason Momoa fights for survival in Braven

Last Updated on July 22, 2021

Jason Momoa is perhaps best known for playing the warlord Khal Drogo in Game of Thrones, but he's about to make a much huger splash as Aquaman in the upcoming DC JUSTICE LEAGUE films. However, that doesn't mean he's too busy for some genre work!

Momoa will be appearing in stunt coordinator Lin Oeding's survival-thriller BRAVEN, which just wrapped principal photography. Above, you can see the first image available from the film, the title of which isn't as confusing as it sounds.

You see, in BRAVEN:

When Joe Braven (Momoa), a humble logger residing along the U.S./Canada border is confronted by a group of deadly drug runners who have stashed heroin in his secluded cabin in the mountains, he must do everything in his power to protect his family. Little do the elite drug runners know the unassuming man they’ve encountered has an impressive bite colliding two dynamic forces – one fighting for the lives of his family, the other for the love of the kill.

BRAVEN also stars Garret Dillahunt (THE LAST HOUSE ON THE LEFT 2009) and Stephen Lang (AVATAR).
