Jennifer Lynch doesn’t have enough hands in this Despite the Gods poster

Last week we brought along the very enticing trailer for DESPITE THE GODS, a documentary about the hell Jennifer Lynch went through to make her snake-woman movie HISSS. Now an international poster for the film has arrived – despite the fact that the movie still hasn’t secured proper distribution.

Finding someone to release GODS shouldn’t be difficult, however; based on the trailer, we’re given a compelling look at the turmoil that can go on behind the scenes of a film that we’re usually not privy to. And who doesn’t love to get an insider’s view at such juicy stuff?

The poster isn’t so hot, but it’s early promo material; let’s hope that once the movie gets picked up it acquires the art it most likely deserves.

Despite the Gods brings us behind the scenes on the set of Lynch’s Bollywood/Hollywood action film about a man-eating snake goddess. Out of her depth shooting on location with an Indian crew and two top Bollywood stars, Lynch turns her production into a vehicle for her own self-actualization, paying no regard to timeline, budget or reality.
