Last Updated on August 2, 2021

Joe Hill aka Stephen King's son has an adaptation of his novel NOS4A2 coming to AMC later this year and we're all excited as hell to check it out. But before that show hits, Hill has a new anthology novel coming our way called Full Throttle (pre-order HERE). This collection features thirteen relentless tales of supernatural suspense, including two previously unpublished stories. Check out the cover art below and then let us know what you think!

Full Throttle is

a darkly imagined odyssey through the complexities of the human psyche. Hypnotic and disquieting, it mines our tormented secrets, hidden vulnerabilities, and basest fears, and demonstrates this exceptional talent at his very best.

Tales included within include “Faun” about a little door that opens to a world of fairy tale wonders but becomes the blood-drenched stomping ground for a gang of hunters. “Late Returns” about a grief-stricken librarian who climbs behind the wheel of an antique Bookmobile to deliver fresh reads to the dead. “By the Silver Water of Lake Champlain” about two young friends who stumble on the corpse of a plesiosaur at the water’s edge, a discovery that forces them to confront the truth of their own mortality…and other horrors that lurk in the water’s shivery depths. And “Throttle,” co-written with King where a faceless trucker finds himself caught in a sinister dance with a tribe of motorcycle outlaws in the sweltering heat of the Nevada desert.

The anthology also includes IN THE TALL GRASS co-written with Stephen King, which is the basis for the upcoming Netflix film directed by Vincenzo Natali (SPLICE, CUBE) and starring Patrick Wilson (THE CONJURING, INSIDIOUS), Laysla De Oliveira and Harrison Gilbertson. Vincenzo Natali's IN THE TALL GRASS will be hitting Netflix worldwide sometime in 2019 but in the meantime, Full Throttle will be released on October 1, 2019.
