Joseph Fiennes heads insanse asylum in "American Horror Story" season 2

You ghouls and gals get a chance to scope the new details dished on "American Horror Story" last week?

Well, here's some more news for you, this of the casting variety. Word from EW has it that Joseph Fiennes is in talks to play a key role in the second season of the hit FX series. In fact, he's poised to play the head of the insane asylum the new season will take place in. Check it...

if a deal is struck, Fiennes would play the head of the East Coast institution for the criminally insane where Jessica Lange's new character is employed. Fiennes' character will also be a love interest for Lange's character, who is charged with running the joint.

Good shite! Fiennes is a pretty creepy dude, just peep any number of direct to cable skin flicks he's graced. Wowser!

Jessica Lange, Zachary Quinto, Evan Peters, Sarah Paulson, Lily Rabe, Adam Levine, Lizzie Brochere, Chloe Sevigny (below) and James Cromwell are also cast in season 2 of "AHS," which returns to the air this October.

Extra Tidbit: What's that flick where Joe bangs Heather Graham? Wow.
