Jump back in time with the 11/22/63 trailer

Last Updated on August 5, 2021

The nine-hour Hulu adaptation of Stephen King’s time travel thriller 11/22/63 has sent us a teaser trailer through the wormhole. For a teaser, there’s actually a pretty ample selection of clips to sift through, hinting at the historical mayhem that’s about to ensue. I personally haven’t read the book, but this teaser is good enough to get me to the library in anticipation.

James Franco might not always make good material, but he always picks interesting projects. I can think of no better descriptor for 11/22/63. Check out the trailer below!

11/22/63 stars James Franco as

Jake Epping, an unassuming divorced English teacher who stumbles upon a time portal that leads to 9/9/1958 and goes on a quest to try and prevent the assassination of John F. Kennedy. But his mission is threatened by Lee Harvey Oswald, his falling in love, and a past that doesn’t want to be changed.

Also starring Sarah Gadon, Chris Cooper, Cherry Jones, Daniel Webber, George MacKay, Josh Duhamel, T.R. Knight, Jack Fulton, and Leon Rippy, 11/22/63 will debut on Hulu on President’s Day, February 15, 2016. The first two episodes were directed and executive produced by Kevin Macdonald.
