Ah, the beloved Psycho Chick subgenre, you’ve been away for far too long. (Well, since NURSE 3D anyway.) Who doesn’t get perverse kicks out of seeing a deranged woman unleashing unholy hell on unsuspecting victims? None of these guilty pleasures can touch FATAL ATTRACTION, but it can’t be denied that the imitators are often just as fun.
The latest entry is called UNFORGETTABLE (ironically, a very forgettable title) and it features a couple of high-profile names: Kerry Washington (“Scandal”) and Kate Hudson (Goldie Hawn’s daughter).
According to The Wrap, UNFORGETTABLE follows…
follows a man and his new bride who are tormented by his ex-wife.
It’s unsure which actress will be playing the tormentor, but Hudson seems far more adept at playing Psycho Chick to me.
Amma Asante (BELLE) will direct, while Warner Bros. is producing and will distribute.
