Keanu Reeves creates clones in Replicas trailer

After the (no pun intended) double-shot of JOHN WICK and JOHN WICK: CHAPTER 2, Keanu Reeves is back in a big, bad way – as far as I'm concerned. I've been keeping my eyes closer on Reeves since, and today we have the killer poster and trailer for his new sci-fi action flick REPLICAS to share with you guys! The film tells the story of a biologist who violates all possible laws and principles in order to bring his family members back to life, after they died in a car accident.

I'd already be down for this new film on the involvement of Reeves alone, but toss in super-hottie Alice Eve (STAR TREK INTO DARKNESS) and I'm there! I don't even need to see the trailer below, or the poster for that matter, I'm sold. All the same, YOU can check out the poster and trailer below and then make sure to let us know what you think! And because that quick synopsis I provided obviously wasn't enough, here's the film's full synopsis:

After a car accident kills his family, a daring synthetic biologist (Reeves) will stop at nothing to bring them back, even if it means pitting himself against a government-controlled laboratory, a police task force, and the physical laws of science. 

Jeffrey Nachmanoff (TRAITOR) directs REPLICAS from a screenplay written by Chad St. John (LONDON HAS FALLEN). Reeves produces the film along with the likes of Lorenzo di Bonaventura, Mark Gao, Stephen Hamel, and Luis A. Riefkohl. Reeves and Eve's co-stars include Thomas Middleditch (SILICON VALLEY), Emily Alyn Lind (ENTER THE VOID), and John Ortiz. It is scheduled to be released on January 11, 2019.

FUN TRIVIA: The film was sold after a private screening at the Toronto International Film Festival to Entertainment Studios for $4 million.
