Killer beasts attack when Day of the Animals hits Blu-ray this week!

Last Updated on July 22, 2021

William Girdler’s cheesy schlockfest DAY OF THE ANIMALS is making its first appearance on Blu-ray this Tuesday courtesy of Scorpion Releasing and Camelot Films. If you haven’t yet checked this monster out, you had better make a point of it – it’s absolutely cuckoo. In a good way, of course.

Scientists warn that the depletion of the Earth’s ozone layer is reaching critical levels, particularly in higher altitudes. How critical? Enough to unleash the vengeful wrath of the entire animal kingdom! No human is safe, particularly a group of nature-loving hikers (including Leslie Nielsen, NAKED GUN, AIRPLANE; Richard Jaeckel, GRIZZLY; Jon Cedar, THE MANITOU; Lynda Day George, PIECES; Andrew Stevens, THE FURY) led by their guide (Christopher George, GRIZZLY, MORTUARY) who are constantly menaced by every conceivable mountain-dwelling creature. Dogs, rats, snakes, hawks, owls, mountain lions and bears are out to send a clear message about chlorofluorocarbon abuse.

-Brand New HD master from the original IP, in its correct aspect ratio (2.35:1)
-Brand New 5.1 mix from the original Three Trk Mag Sound
-Interview with stars Jon Cedar and Paul Mantee
-Fun Facts and Trivia Segment
-Exclusive on the BluRay release, an isolated music only track from famed composer Lalo Schifrin.

Pre-order DAY OF THE ANIMALS right HERE. It roars November 26th.
