Legendary Entertainment tap Seventh Son scribe Charles Leavitt for another go at World of Warcraft

Last Updated on July 23, 2021

So last month I told you all how Sam Raimi had officially exited the long-awaited big screen adaptation of the hit computer game WORLD OF WARCRAFT. Now I’ve never given into this drug so the news really didn’t sway me much, but I’m sure a lot of you out there took notice.

Well apparently just because Raimi is no longer attached to the film doesn’t mean Legendary Entertainment are giving up on it! Word coming at us today from Variety has Legendary tapping scribe Charles Leavitt with the task of adapting a WORLD OF WARCRAFT flick. It seems Legendary took a liking to Leavitt’s take and could have the project moving forward as early as a few months from now, which includes a search for a new director.

Leavitt recently penned the exorcism romp THE SEVENTH SON for Legendary, so it seems he’ll fit right in around these parts. Now the question presents itself – Who would you like to see direct this shite? Spit some bullets below and let us know!

With Legendary excited for Leavitt’s take there’s definitely a possibility we can be treated to more WORLD OF WARCRAFT news soon so you can bet we’ll keep our eyes and ears open.

WOW indeed!
