In September of last year we learned that IFC Midnight had scooped up Mac Carter's supernatural thriller HAUNT, and now we know just when the film will haunt us on DVD.
IFC Midnight has slated a June 10 DVD release for HAUNT, which centers around a boy who gets involved with a mysterious neighbour when his family moves into a new home and unwittingly summons a demon.
A family of five moves into a beautiful, sprawling dream home. One problem: it’s cursed, having caused the deaths of the previous family to occupy it, leaving only one survivor (Jacki Weaver). The moody 18-year-old son and his mysterious new neighbor/girlfriend inadvertently awaken something in the house while also violently shaking the many skeletons in the many closets.
The film stars Harrison Gilbertson, Liana Liberato, and Jackie Weaver.
We've seen a cool poster and creepy trailer for HAUNT, along with a handful of stills, so it's great to hear that the film is finally headed to DVD.
