Men in Black spin-off adds dancers, Fallen Kingdom and Big Sick stars

Rafe Spall Jurassic World: Fallen Kingdom

The MEN IN BLACK are coming back to the screen, but this time it's not going to be the U.S.-based agents played by Will Smith and Tommy Lee Jones that we know from the previous three films. The latest MEN IN BLACK movie, which have an official title yet, will be introducing us to a new batch of alien-tracking characters, ones who work out of London.

THOR: RAGNAROK co-stars Chris Hemsworth and Tessa Thompson will be playing the leads, with Liam Neeson as their boss.

Written by IRON MAN's Matt Holloway and Art Marcum, the new film is rumored to deal with

Tessa’s character Em trying to prove herself by joining the London MIB and being paired with the former ace Agent H, played by Hemsworth. The pair become involved in a murder mystery that has them tavelling the globe.

With the scheduled June 14, 2019 release date now less than a year away, this project will be going into production very soon, and it just made some more progress by starting to build up the supporting cast.

Joining Hemsworth, Thompson, and Neeson are comedian Kumail Nanjiani, who wrote and starred in the Oscar-nominated film THE BIG SICK; Rafe Spall, who can be seen playing a shady character in the recently released JURASSIC WORLD: FALLEN KINGDOM (pictured above); and Laurent Nicolas Bourgeois and Larry Nicolas Bourgeois, who have a dancing career as the Les Twins.

No details have been revealed about their characters. In a film like this, I'm going to guess the dancers have been cast to play aliens.

F. Gary Gray will be directing the film, with Walter F. Parkes and Laurie MacDonald producing. Steven Spielberg is on board as executive producer, and David Beaubaire is overseeing the project for Sony.

I know fans of the franchise aren't thrilled by the idea of getting a MEN IN BLACK without Smith and Jones, but this one seems to be coming together pretty well so far.
