Mentryville, starring Danny Glover and Vinnie Jones, gets a new title: Infected

Once known as SPORES and MENTRYVILLE, the killer-infected flick starring Danny Glover and Vinnie Jones that we last told you about in August now has another title, just in case you’re eagerly tracking its progress: INFECTED. I guess it’s technically the “best” of the titles, but it’s also the most generic. According to IMDB, there are at least 10 movies/shorts going by INFECTED, so this latest one has its work cut out for it standing out from the pack.

Written and directed by Jason Dudek, INFECTED goes this way: When a corrupt pharmaceutical company unleashes a deadly virus on a remote farm, an ex-Marine and his friends become its unwitting test subjects. Now they must race to stop it before the infection spreads.

In addition to Glover and Jones, INFECTED stars Taylor Handley, Margo Harshman, Beverly Mitchell, Tiffany Hines, Ryan Pinkston and Leebo Freeman. We’ll bring you release news as soon as we get it.
