Some big casting news is on tap for Michael Dougherty’s long-awaited follow-up to TRICK R TREAT, the holiday horror flick KRAMPUS. Adam Scott (Hot Tub Time Machine 2), Toni Collette (The Sixth Sense) and David Koechner (Anchorman) have all joined the cast, which already included Alison Tolman (“Fargo”) and Emjay Anthony (Chef). Stefania Owen has also boarded the horror-comedy.

KRAMPUS focuses on an ancient legend about a pagan demon who punishes wicked children. Anthony plays the lead, a target of the devilish creature.

According to The Hollywood Reporter, Scott will play a workaholic dad who has to step up for his family. Collette will play a mother who pretends everything is perfect via her elaborate meals but will also have to dig deep to protect her family. Koechner plays a father whose child has gone missing under mysterious circumstances. Owen will play the daughter of Scott’s character.

Legendary Pictures is planning a spring start for KRAMPUS in New Zealand.
