Get your pipes loose and ready, because we could be witnessing the birth of the next ROCKY HORROR PICTURE SHOW. I’ll leave it to you to decide if that’s a good thing or bad.

The horror musical STAGE FRIGHT which is gearing up for a September shoot in Ontario and has already enlisted Meat Loaf, Allie MacDonald and Douglas Smith, has just given a key role to Minnie Driver. Remember Minnie Driver?!

The film, written and directed by Jerome Sable, focuses on a snobbish musical-theater camp terrorized by a bloodthirsty masked killer who despises musical theater. Driver is set to play a haunted Broadway star who is the mother of siblings portrayed by MacDonald and Smith.

Serendipity Point Films is producing STAGE FRIGHT, while EOne Films has acquired Canadian rights; Celluloid Nightmares is handling international sales.
