Netflix & Frank Miller's Cursed cast includes Katherine Langford

Netflix has a new series coming our way called Cursed. It's based on the upcoming book of the same name, and is a re-imagining of the Arthurian legend, told through the eyes of the young woman who would become the Lady of the Lake. And today we have word on just who will be starring in this new series alongside Katherine Langford (see below in Netflix's 13 Reasons Why) and Peter Mullan (see above in SESSION 9).

Netflix announced today that the cast will include the likes of Devon Terrell (Barry), Gustaf Skarsgård (Westworld, Vikings), Daniel Sharman (Fear the Walking Dead, Medici), Lily Newmark (Pin Cushion), Shalom Brune-Franklin (The State, Our Girl), Sebastian Armesto (Poldark, Broadchurch), Emily Coates (Flack), Catherine Walker (Versailles, The Delinquent Season) and Billy Jenkins (The Crown, HOLMES & WATSON, Humans).

Cursed is described as

A a re-imagining of the Arthurian legend, told through the eyes of the young woman who would become the Lady of the Lake.  A coming-of-age story with themes familiar to our own time: the obliteration of the natural world, religious zeal and oppression, senseless war and finding the courage to lead in the face of the impossible.

Zetna Fuentes (Ray Donovan, Jessica Jones, The Deuce, Shameless) will direct and serve as an executive producer on the first two episodes. The series is created and executive produced by Frank Miller (SIN CITY, 300) and Tom Wheeler (Puss in Boots, The Cape) who is also showrunner and writer. Tom Wheeler will write the companion book, which Frank Miller will illustrate to be published by Simon & Schuster in Fall 2019. Alex Boden (Sense8, CLOUD ATLAS) is the producer and Silenn Thomas is co-executive producer. The series begins filming in England and Wales next month.

I'm digging the storyline here regarding a re-imagining of King Arthur through the eyes of the woman who would become the Lady of the Lake and the cast is pretty aces so I think this might be a project to keep an eye on in the future. What about you? What do you think thus far? Let us know below!
