New Hardcore Henry trailer gives a further glimpse at the mayhem

Last Updated on July 21, 2021

We are now just one month and one day away from the theatrical release of director Ilya Naishuller's HARDCORE HENRY, and in case you weren't drawn into this film's particular brand of madness by the previous trailer, the TV spot, or the trailer that was released back when the movie was simply called HARDCORE, a new trailer has made its way online to give you another look at what Naishuller has in store for audiences.

Shot from the first person perspective and packed with "non-stop bloody, brutal violence and mayhem", HARDCORE HENRY stars Sharlto Copley, Danila Kozlovsky, Haley Bennett, Andrey Dementyev, Dasha Charusha, and Sveta Ustinova.

The film is

one of the most unflinchingly original wild-rides to hit the big screen in a long time:  You remember nothing. Mainly because you’ve just been brought back from the dead by your wife (Bennett). She tells you that your name is Henry. Five minutes later, you are being shot at, your wife has been kidnapped, and you should probably go get her back. Who’s got her? His name’s Akan (Kozlovsky); he’s a powerful warlord with an army of mercenaries, and a plan for world domination. You’re also in an unfamiliar city of Moscow, and everyone wants you dead. Everyone except for a mysterious British fellow called Jimmy (Copley.) He may be on your side, but you aren’t sure. If you can survive the insanity, and solve the mystery, you might just discover your purpose and the truth behind your identity. Good luck, Henry. You’re likely going to need it…

HARDCORE HENRY was produced by Naishuller, Ekaterina Kononenko, Inga Vainshtein Smith, and Timur Beckmambetov. It will be in theatres on April 8th, but you can experience a minute and a half of its imagery right here, right now:
