New quad poster for Ben Wheatley’s Sightseers

Last Updated on July 23, 2021

The Edgar Wright-produced, Ben Wheatley-directed SIGHTSEERS will be opening overseas next month (lucky buggers), following some strong festival buzz. Today we’ve got ourselves a new quad poster for the film, which you can see below. (Click it for a bigger version.)

If we’re being honest, the quad is just basically a compilation of the four one-sheets we showed you last week, but we won’t judge them too harshly.

Chris (Steve Oram) wants to show Tina (Alice Lowe) his world and he wants to do it his way – on a journey through the British Isles in his beloved Abbey Oxford Caravan. Tina’s led a sheltered life and there are things that Chris needs her to see – the Crich Tramway Museum, the Ribblehead Viaduct, the Keswick Pencil Museum and the rolling countryside that accompanies these wonders in his life. But it doesn’t take long for the dream to fade. Litterbugs, noisy teenagers and pre-booked caravan sites, not to mention Tina’s meddling mother, soon conspire to shatter Chris’s dreams and send him, and anyone who rubs him up the wrong way, over a very jagged edge…

SIGHTSEERS will have its UK premiere at the BFI London Film Festival before heading to UK theaters on November 30. We’re still awaiting details on a US release, although IFC has acquired it for distribution.
