Men in Black International Tessa Thompson Chris Hemsworth F. Gary Gray

Yesterday we learned that the title of the new MEN IN BLACK film starring Chris Hemsworth and Tessa Thompson is titled MEN IN BLACK INTERNATIONAL, and today Hemsworth took to his Twitter account to share the first official image from the film – an image that shows his character alongside Thompson's, both of them in suits and wielding weapons used in their fight against villainous aliens.

I don't have much of an opinion on the image. It looks exactly like I would expect a MEN IN BLACK movie starring Hemsworth and Thompson to look like, which I suppose is a good thing because I liked their interaction in THOR: RAGNAROK. I'll gladly watch them share the screen again in this.

Directed by F. Gary Gray from a screenplay by IRON MAN's Matt Holloway and Art Marcum, MEN IN BLACK INTERNATIONAL does not feature the characters Will Smith and Tommy Lee Jones played in the previous three films. Instead, we'll be meeting different MIB agents who are based out of England.

To story is said to be about

Tessa’s character Em trying to prove herself by joining the London MIB and being paired with the former ace Agent H, played by Hemsworth. The pair becomes involved in a murder mystery that has them traveling the globe.

Also in the cast are Liam Neeson as their boss, Emma Thompson as her MEN IN BLACK III character Agent O, and Rebecca Ferguson, Kumail Nanjiani, Rafe Spall, and twin dancers Laurent and Larry Nicolas Bourgeois in unspecified roles.

Produced by Walter F. Parkes and Laurie MacDonald, with Steven Spielberg executive producing, MEN IN BLACK INTERNATIONAL is scheduled to be released on June 14, 2019.
