Robbie Amell (The Flash, The X-Files) and Rachael Taylor (TRANSFORMER, Jessica Jones) have joined a new thriller that has the post-apocalypse, a time loop and a home-invasion scenario! Can't say it's being lazy. It's called ARQ and it's being produced by Lost City and XYZ Films and will eventually be released on Netflix. Tony Elliott, who is a writer on BBC's Orphan Black, is scripting and directing.

ARQ is set…

in the near future when the oil supply has run dry. Trapped in a house and surrounded by a gang of mysterious masked intruders, an engineer (Amell) must protect a technology that could deliver unlimited energy and end the wars that have consumed the world. The only problem is that the technology has created a time loop that condemns him and his friends all to relive the same day over and over.

Shooting begins soon in Toronto.
