RIP: The Boogey Man director Ulli Lommel has passed away

Sorry to do this to you guys, but I have some sad news to start your week off with as I just found out that director Ulli Lommel passed away on December 1st at age 72 due to heart failure.

IMDb has Lommel's directing credits listed at 63 (!) but we all will forever remember him as the director of THE BOOGEY MAN (1980). At least I will. But again, the man had directed f*cking tons and tons of horror movies through his career and he will be missed for sure. Got to respect the man's work ethic.

You can check through all of his films HERE and then make sure to hit us up and let us know which one was your favorite in the comments below or on social media.

THE BOOGEY MAN (1980) synopsis:

A young woman (Suzanna Love) is haunted by a piece of broken mirror possessed by the spirit of her mother's lover.

THE BOOGEY MAN was originally released on Nov. 7, 1980. Buy a copy on Blu-ray HERE.

RIP Ulli Lommel
