Sometime next year, some of the characters writer/director Rob Zombie first introduced in the 2003 release HOUSE OF 1000 CORPSES will be returning to the screen in his new film THREE FROM HELL, fourteen years after they appeared to have been killed off in THE DEVIL'S REJECTS. Those characters are the homicidal trio of Otis, played by Bill Moseley; Baby, played by Sheri Moon Zombie; and Captain Spaulding, played by Sid Haig.

Zombie worked on stirring up some hype for the return of one of those characters with the latest update to his Instagram account, sharing a clip from THE DEVIL'S REJECTS that shows Otis doing some terrible things. This clip was accompanied by the caption

If you think Otis has mellowed with age in THREE FROM HELL… well, think again. He's worse than ever.

Otis was never a pleasant person, so it's tough to imagine he could get much worse than he already was.

How can Otis have aged, since he seemed to be killed off in THE DEVIL'S REJECTS? Well, THREE FROM HELL will be showing us that Otis, Baby, and Captain Spaulding survived that film's climactic shootout with police and have been spending some time behind bars since we last saw them.

Moseley, Moon Zombie, and Haig are joined in the cast by THE DEVIL'S REJECTS co-stars Danny Trejo as Rondo and Daniel Roebuck as Morris Green, as well as new additions Clint Howard, Richard Brake, Jeff Daniel Phillips, Emilio Rivera, David Ury, Dee Wallace, Pancho Moler, Austin Stoker, Tom Papa, Dot-Marie Jones, Richard Edson, Richard Riehle, Kevin Jackson, Billy Blair, Steven Michael Quezada, Bill Oberst Jr., Sylvia Jefferies, and Sean Whalen.

A release date for THREE FROM HELL has not yet been announced, but we do expect to see it in 2019.
