RoboCop 2 & 3 coming to BluRay March 21st

Last Updated on July 21, 2021

The original ROBOCOP is one of my favorite flicks, so it took me a few years to dive into the film's sequels. I had heard good things about ROBOCOP 2, and the combination of director Irvin Kershner (EMPIRE STRIKES BACK), Tom Noonan, and Frank Miller had me more than intrigued, so I finally peeped that flick – my God, years ago now – and was thoroughly impressed with the carnage provided within. The little kid villain I was on the fence about… still am. But I get it.

As far as ROBOCOP 3 is concerned, the only thing really drawing me to that flick was the fact that it was written and directed by one of my top genre filmmakers Fred Dekker (MONSTER SQUAD, NIGHT OF THE CREEPS). So I watched it. And… let's just say the less said about ROBOCOP 3 the better. I hate to bully a Dekker/Robocop flick, so I'm just going to quietly walk away and pretend I didn't see anything.

That said, Scream Factory is prepping to release their ultimate presentations of the second and third entries in the series March 21. The new Collector’s Editions will come complete with a new 2K scan of Robocop 2, hours of new bonus content featuring commentaries and interviews with cast and crew, and limited-edition collectible slipcover packaging with newly commissioned artwork.

Check out the full details below!
