Ron Livingston & Lili Taylor join James Wan’s formerly titled The Conjuring

With James Wan looking to duplicate the massive success of INSIDIOUS with his new ghost story (formerly referred to as THE CONJURING), the Aussie filmmaker is bolstering his latest with a highly impressive ensemble.

Just last week we told you Patrick Wilson and Vera Farmiga had joined THE CONJURING, and now it seems another pair of excellent indie-actors are onboard. According to THR, Ron Livingston (seen right) and Lili Taylor (below) will also star in Wan’s latest, now tentatively referred to as UNTITLED WARREN FILES PROJECT.

Word is Livingston and Taylor will play a couple who move with their kids to the farmhouse and begin to be haunted.

As you know, The story is based on the real life tale of the Perron family and their ordeals in the 1970s. When New Line acquired the pitch from the Hayes, it included life rights to the Perron family and the paranormal investigators Ed and Lorraine Warren. Wilson and Farmiga are playing a husband and wife team of demonologists and psychic investigators who enter the most horrifying case of their career, spirits in a Rhode Island farmhouse.

Not sure about you, but I love the casting so far. Lili Taylor is a hell of an actor…just go back 20 years and watch her opposite River Phoenix in DOGFIGHT. Check her out in SAY ANYTHING and HIGH FIDELITY. Chick rules. I can’t wait to see her chop it up with Wilson, Farmiga and Livingston.

You feel the same?
