Scope out the creeptastic new teaser trailer for The Woman In Black starring Daniel Radcliffe

I am insanely excited for James Watkins’ THE WOMAN IN BLACK starring Harry Potter himself Daniel Radcliffe in his first role post that franchise.

I am happy to report that a brand spanking new 60-second teaser trailer has come our way and we have it for you to check out! It does a great job of selling the film, the more I see the more I can’t wait. It really looks and feels like a classic atmospheric gothic horror film, something I really miss in the modern horror genre. We don’t have long to wait; the film is out February 3rd of next year in the US, with the UK getting it a week later. It was based upon the novel by Susan Hill, which was also the source for the 1989 film version.

The story follows a young lawyer, Arthur Kipps (Radcliffe), who is ordered to travel to a remote village and sort out a recently deceased client’s papers. As he works alone in the client’s isolated house, Kipps begins to uncover tragic secrets, his unease growing when he glimpses a mysterious woman dressed only in black. Receiving only silence from the locals, Kipps is forced to uncover the true identity of the Woman in Black on his own, leading to a desperate race against time when he discovers her true intent.

THE WOMAN IN BLACK stars Daniel Radcliffe Shaun Dooley, Cathy Sara, Mary Stockley, Roger Allam, Liz White, Lucy May Barker, Tim McMullan, Alisa Khazanova, Daniel Cerqueira, David Burke and Victor McGuire.

Dan's HARRY POTTER co-star, the adorable Emma Watson.

Extra Tidbit: I haven't tapped the 1989 version, but I have heard nothing but great things. Might be worth a watch before the release of this one.
