Punish!

The most twisted of holiday horror flicks, SILENT NIGHT, DEADLY NIGHT will be celebrating its 30th Anniversary this fall with a brand new Blu-ray! Anchor Bay will be releasing the new edition on September 16th.

No special features have officially been announced yet, but we can assume it’ll be overflowing with new documentaries and interviews. Awesome new cover art is also likely on the way. The real question is, will it be the “unrated” cut?

You better watch out, but you won’t have time to cry once this Santa gets his claws on you. Abused as an orphaned child, Billy (Robert Brian Wilson) unleashes his long-submerged rage when he gets a job dressing up as Kris Kringle. This controversial horrorfest shocked America and drew protests…and fans

We’ll update you with more details when they come in! In the meantime, celebrate this cheerful news with one of the film’s classic death sequences.
