Slasher movie Pitchfork will be Uncork'd on January 13th

The filmmakers behind the slasher movie PITCHFORK are hoping that its titular killer will become the monster for the new generation, and distributor Uncork'd Entertainment has chosen the perfect date to release a slasher movie into the world: a Friday the 13th. To be exact, PITCHFORK will be arriving in Los Angeles theatres and on VOD on Friday, January 13th.

Written by director Glenn Douglas Packard and executive producer Darryl F. Gariglio, PITCHFORK tells the following story:

Having recently shared a life-changing secret with his family, Hunter recruits his friends to come with him from New York to the farm where he grew up as he faces his parents for the first time. As the college students enjoy the fresh air of Michigan farm country, an older, more dangerous secret slowly emerges. While Hunter navigates a new place within his conservative family, a vicious creature from their past descends on the farm, putting the unsuspecting city kids in mortal danger.

Daniel Wilkinson plays Pitchfork, who will be stalking a cast that includes Brian Raetz, Lindsey Nicole, Ryan Moore, Celina Beach, Keith Webb, Sheila Leason, Nicole Dambro, Vibhu Raghave, Rachel Carter, Andrew Dawe-Collins, Carol Ludwick, Derek Reynolds, Addisyn Wallace, and Anisbel Lopez.

Whether or not Pitchfork will earn his own franchise remains to be seen, but it looks like he'll be delivering some solid slasher action in this film. I never get tired of watching slasher movies, so I think I'll give PITCHFORK a chance next month.
