We've got a small casting update for Fox's "Sleepy Hollow" series to throw your way as the show has added actor Nicholas Gonzalez (above) to the chopping block. Gonzalez will play the character of Luke, Abbie’s (Nicole Beharie) ex-boyfriend who works for the Sleepy Hollow Police Department. "Sleepy Hollow" is just around the corner with its premiere on Monday, September 16th, and along with its regular Monday time slot, repeat episodes will air on Friday nights from 9:00 – 10:00 PM.

In this modern-day twist on Washington Irving’s classic, Ichabod Crane (Tom Mison; Salmon Fishing in the Yemen) is resurrected and pulled two and a half centuries through time to find that the world is on the brink of destruction and he is humanity’s last hope, forcing him to team up with a contemporary police officer (Nicole Beharie; 42, Shame) to unravel a mystery that dates back to the founding fathers.

"Sleepy Hollow" is from K/O Paper Products in association with 20th Century Fox Television. The series is co-created by Alex Kurtzman, Roberto Orci, Phillip Iscove, and Len Wiseman. The series is executive-produced by Kurtzman, Orci, Wiseman, and Heather Kadin. Len Wiseman helmed the pilot.
