Soundtrack Badassness: Teases from Dead Shadows & Prometheus!

Last Updated on July 23, 2021

A soundtrack can easily make or break a flick. That much should already be understood if you’ve made it this far. So when a tease of a soundtrack for a highly anticipated flick is released, it’s always a good feeling when that track ROCKS. Thankfully that is the case with the two teases we’ve got for you today!

If you scroll on down below you can tap hints from both the DEAD SHADOWS (by Kevin Riepl) and PROMETHEUS (by Marc Streitenfeld) soundtracks. And guess what?! They’re both awesome! Don’t take my word for it though, scroll on down below and let your ears convince you.

DEAD SHADOWS comes our way from director David Cholewa on stars Fabian Wolfrom, Blandine Marmigère (below), Rurik Sallé and John ‘The Arrow’ Fallon. That’s right people – our very own ‘Arrow!’ Though you should’ve already knew that… Here’s the rundown:

Dead Shadows tells the terrifying story of a young man, named Chris (Wolfrom), whose parents were brutally killed 11 years ago, on the same day that Halley’s comet could be seen from earth. Tonight, a new comet is appearing and everyone in his building are getting ready for a party to celebrate the event. There’s even an apocalypse theory going around. As the night falls, Chris discovers that people are starting to act strange – and it seems to somehow be connected to the comet. They are becoming disoriented and violent and it doesn’t take long before they begin to mutate into something far beyond this world. In a fight for survival, Chris tries to escape from his building with the help of a gun taunting tenant named John (Fallon) – but will they make it out alive?

As for PROMETHEUS we’ve got Ridley Scott in the director’s chair with an outstanding cast that includes Noomi Rapace, Michael Fassbender, Logan Marshall-Green, Guy Pearce, Idris Elba, Patrick Wilson and Charlize Theron.

Ridley Scott, director of ‘Alien’ and ‘Blade Runner,’ returns to the genre he helped define. With ‘Prometheus’ he creates a groundbreaking mythology in which a team of explorers discover a clue to the origins of mankind on Earth, leading them on a thrilling journey to the darkest corners of the universe. There they must fight a terrifying battle to save the future of the human race.

That shite smashes into theaters on June 8th while DEAD SHADOWS hopes to hear about some distribution news after it’s showing at Cannes. You can bet we’ll be right here to keep you updated on both flicks so don’t stray to far!
