Clear your systems, we now know when THE BITTER PILL will be prescribed!

Open Road Entertainment has tagged Steven Soderbergh’s psychopharmacology thriller with a February 8, 2013 release, which makes sense since the film is currently filming in The Big Apple. Remember, we have the proof in Rooney Mara’s glazed over eyeballs!

Also starring Channing Tatum, Jude Law, Catherine Zeta-Jones (below), David Costabile, Andrea Bogart and Vinessa Shaw:

THE BITTER PILLS is a potboiler in the Jagged Edge-Basic Instinct mold about a troubled and depressed woman who is taking serious amounts of prescription drugs to deal with the anxiety surrounding the pending release of her husband from prison.

So chalk it up…THE BITTER PILL goes down the hatch February 8, 2013. It’s only competition as of now is Lasse Hallstrom’s drama SAFE HAVEN.
