Quite possibly the top film I'm most looking forward to checking out later this year is RKSS's upcoming 80's-style nostalgia thriller SUMMER OF '84. And it's with this in mind that I get excited as hell whenever we have any news regarding the film.
Especially when it's a kick-ass new poster featuring the cast. And as luck would have it, that's just what we have for you guys to check out today via IMP Awards. Not only that, but we have a new killer clip for you guys from the film, which was recently screened over at Comic-Con. Check them both out below!
SUMMER OF 84 is directed by the Montreal filmmaking collective RKSS which consists of François Simard and brother & sister Anouk Whissell and Yoann-Karl Whissell. The film fittingly takes place in the Summer of 1984:
The perfect time to be 15 years old and carefree. But when neighborhood conspiracy theorist Davey Armstrong begins to suspect his police officer neighbor might be the serial killer all over the local news, he and his three best friends begin an investigation that soon turns dangerous.
You can check out the all-new poster below and then make sure to mark your calendars as Gunpowder & Sky will be releasing RKSS' SUMMER OF '84 in theaters on August 10, 2018, and on VOD and Digital HD on August 24, 2018.
