Supernatural thriller The Empty Man fills role with James Badge Dale

Fox's latest foray into the genre is THE EMPTY MAN, a supernatural thriller from behind-the-scenes features director David Britten Prior from his own script. They've tapped James Badge Dale to lead the project.

Dale was most recently seen (by somebody, I'm sure) in 13 HOURS: THE SECRET SOLDIERS OF BENGHAZI, but he has also appeared in WORLD WAR Z, IRON MAN 3, THE WALK, SHAME, and the show 24.

Adapted from the graphic nove of the same namel by Cullen Bunn and illustrated by Vanesa R. Del Rey, THE EMPTY MAN:

The story centers on a troubled ex-cop who battles to find a missing girl, but discovers a sinister presence all around him.

Shooting will commence in South Africa this Fall.
