Take a closer look at the vehicles of the RoboCop reboot

A few days back we showed off pictures of the reboot RoboCop’s new motorcycle. Now we have a new set of photos that give us a better look at the bike in action as well other vehicles in the film.

I’m digging the box-y design of the film’s major cars, especially the taxi. Jose Padilha’s design seems to be trying to meld a somewhat retro style with something a bit more contemporary. It’s a nice juxtaposition to counter the original film’s more Reganomics-of-the-future vibe. Also, if nothing else, the reboot may be able to pull off RoboCop on a motorcycle more believably than ROBOCOP 2 managed. Seriously, that scene was almost as hilarious as Robo’s brief stint in the WCW.
