You like extreme sports? Well, if you’re tired of the boring old rock climbing or free fall kayaking, why not visit the illustrious Pripyat – only 2 miles from the Chernobyl nuclear power plant! Experience the chilling adventure and disappear, never to be seen again by human eyes! Or at least that’s what the new viral video from Oren Peli’s CHERNOBYL DIARIES seems to suggest. The film’s going to hit theaters a couple of weeks from now and Yahoo nabbed themselves an exclusive clip. Check it out below.

The film follows a group of six young tourists who, looking to go off the beaten path, hire an “extreme tour” guide. Ignoring warnings, he takes them into the city of Pripyat, the former home to the workers of the Chernobyl nuclear reactor, but a deserted town since the disaster more than 25 years ago. After a brief exploration of the abandoned city, however, the group soon finds themselves stranded, only to discover that they are not alone…

CHERNOBYL DIARIES, directed by Brad Parker, stars Jesse McCartney, Jonathan Sadowski, Olivia Dudley, Ingrid Bolsø Berdal (below), Nathan Phillips, Pasha D. Lychnikoff and Devin Kelley. The film opens on May 25th.
