Teaser trailer for chilly Icelandic horror flick Frost

Last Updated on July 23, 2021

Looking like it could be a found footage version of THE THING, FROST, an Icelandic horror flick from the producers of HARPOON: Reykjavik Whale Watching Massacre (quite a movie, that one is), has just received its first teaser trailer, which you can peep below. An original sci-fi thriller set on a glacier, FROST was directed by Reynir Lyngdal from a screenplay by Jón Atli Jónasson.

The film’s synopsis: At a glacier camp, a young couple, Agla and Gunnar, form part of an expedition where she serves as supervisor and he shoots a video about the expedition. They wake up to find their co-workers gone. A sequence of very strange occurrences follow…

FROST stars Anna Gunndís Guðmundsdóttir (try saying that five times fast), Helgi Björnsson and Björn Thors. Its poster says it has a JULY 9th release date in the works, but we’ll wait and see on that one. For now, enjoy the brief preview.
