Terrordactyl

The creature feature TERRORDACTYL is available on Digital HD and On Demand as of today, and the trailer appears to promise a film that's either just as much silly fun as you'd hope something with that title to be, or a movie that's way better than you would expect something called TERRORDACTYL to be, depending on your reaction to that moniker.

Directed by Don Bitters III and Geoff Reisner, TERRORDACTYL begins with an event that has kicked off many horror stories over the years: a meteor shower.

When a meteor shower rains down outside Los Angeles, Jonas and Lars head out to find a meteor and strike it rich. After recovering one, they start being stalked by terrordactyls, flying reptiles that launch a full-on assault on the city. Trying to survive, they go on the run with Candice, a bartender; Valerie, her sultry roommate; and Sampson, a brash ex-marine. They must become the unlikeliest of heroes and fight to take back Los Angeles and make the terrifying terrordactyls extinct once again.

Jason Tobias, Christopher John Jennings, Candice Nunes, Bianca Haase, and Jack E. Curenton star.

With prehistoric creatures wreaking havoc, a sense of humor, flamethrowers, and impalement by flag pole, TERRORDACTYL looks like a good time to me. If it looks like something you would enjoy, you can rent it right now on Amazon.
