Texas Chainsaw 3D gets a cheesy motion poster!

You remember that crazy new TEXAS CHAINSAW 3D poster from a few days back?? The one with Leatherface holding the chainsaw the studio asked us to take down? Well, how would you like to see that poster officially? And what if I said it was animated to make Leatherface swivel back and forth with his chainsaw in your face?

Well, I wouldn’t be lying. The poster is below and it is as cheesy as it sounds. It’s basically the motion poster equivalent of one of those life-size, motion activated Leatherface dummies you find at your local CVS this time of the year without the chainsaw chainsaw noises. Sure, its kitschy fun, but you would think Lionsgate would put more work into a TEXAS CHAINSAW 3D poster than an image of Leatherface swaying all herky-jerky.

TEXAS CHAINSAW hits theaters January 4th. The film is directed by John Luessenhop and stars Alexandra Daddario, Scott Eastwood, Trey Songz, Tania Raymonde, Bill Moseley, and Dan Yeager.
