That Jeff Bridges exorcism flick The Seventh Son finally set to start filming!

Earlier this month I was right here telling you all the latest bit of casting news for Sergey Bodrov's THE SEVENTH SON. Now that's all fine and dandy but the problem is we've been talking about this one for a while now with no start date in sight. Well folks, that changes today!

The Hollywood Reporter just dropped the news that THE SEVENTH SON is gearing up to start production next month in Vancouver. Well it's about time. Warner Bros. are hoping for a February 2013 release for THE SEVENTH SON, which is based on Joseph Delaney's book franchise THE SPOOK'S APPRENTICE. Peep the rundown:

Tom Ward, a young boy training to be an exorcist in the 1700's, must learn how to exorcise ghosts, contain witches, and bind boggarts. Trouble begins when he's tricked into releasing the most evil witch in the world.

The film will topline Jeff Bridges as an aging exorcist who takes the young man under his wing. Along with Bridges the film will also star Kit Harington, Ben Barnes, Julianne Moore (below) and Alicia Vikander.

Now with THE SEVENTH SON set to start filming in just a couple weeks I'd say we can expect a lot more updates on this one soon. As always as soon as any other news comes rolling our way we'll be sure to pass that shite right along to all of you.
