“Mortal Kombat: Legacy” getting a season 2! Peep the announcement & kombatants!

Last year Kevin Tancharoen’s take on the classic video game MORTAL KOMBAT took the world by storm via his web-series “Mortal Kombat: Legacy.” For the most part the series kicked all kinds of ass. So what’s the only logical thing to do in such a situation? Move forward with a season 2! That’s what!

Now we already know Tancharoen is working on a feature based on his hit web-series, but fresh out of Comic-Con we’ve got the filmmaker announcing the Second Season of “Mortal Kombat: Legacy!” And we’ve got it on video! But that’s not all…

In the video, which can be found below or over in our videos section, we’ve also got an announcement of which classic MORTAL KOMBAT characters will be appearing in this second season. Now I can go ahead and just run those names off but what fun is that? Check out the video!

And the kicker? This new season will center on the famed ‘Mortal Kombat’ tournament rather than character backstories! Nice!
