GREEN ROOM is shaping up to be one of the best horror flicks in the first half of the year, and this new red band trailer isn't providing any evidence to the contrary. This visceral, hard rocking two minutes will sell you on the film's gruesome delights with some new clips that show off just how dark this film can get. What's more punk rock than a bloody boxcutter, right? Check out the trailer below!

GREEN ROOM is about a down-on-their-luck punk rock band called The Ain't Rights, who:

are finishing up a long and unsuccessful tour, and are about to call it quits when they get an unexpected booking at an isolated, run-down club deep in the backwoods of Oregon.  What seems merely to be a third-rate gig escalates into something much more sinister when they witness an act of violence backstage that they weren't meant to see.

Now trapped backstage, they must face off against the club's depraved owner, Darcy Banker, a man who will do anything to protect the secrets of his nefarious enterprise.  But while Darcy and his henchmen think the band will be easy to get rid of, The Ain't Rights prove themselves much more cunning and capable than anyone expected, turning the tables on their unsuspecting captors and setting the stage for the ultimate life-or-death showdown.

The film stars Patrick Stewart, Anton Yelchin, Imogen Poots, Alia Shawkat, Joe Cole, Callum Turner, Mark Webber, Eric Edelstein, Macon Blair, and Kai Lennox. GREEN ROOM will be released in Los Angeles and New York on April 15th, spreading to more theaters on the 29th.
