A few days back I brought you the news that James Wan’s THE CONJURING has been retitled to THE WARREN FILES and that it had some new cast members. Well the casting news continues as the producing is rounding out its players.
Joining the cast is Hayley McFarland (she was Tim Roth’s daughter in LIE TO ME – right) and Shanley Caswell. They will play family members who get affected by the haunted house. They will play the older siblings to the previously cast Mackenzie Foy and Joey King.
The film will also star Lilli Taylor and Ron Livingston as the parents, with Vera Farmiga and Patrick Wilson as psychic investigators. Shooting will begin February 21st in North Carolina.
The story is based on the real life tale of the Perron family and their ordeals in the 1970s. Wilson and Farmgia (below) will be playing a husband and wife team of demonologists and psychic investigators who enter the most horrifying case of their career, spirits in a Rhode Island farmhouse.
