Last Updated on July 30, 2021

Ever wondered how many people lose their lives in any particular horror movie? Well, we've got you covered with THE KILL COUNTER, our hit series takes out the guesswork and counts every death on (and sometimes off) screen. Break out your calculator and try to keep up! On this week's episode, we take on Patrick Lussier and Todd Farmer's MY BLOODY VALENTINE 3D starring Jensen Ackles, Jaime King, Kerr Smith, Betsy Rue, Megan Boone, Kevin Tighe, Todd Farmer, Richard John Walters, and Tom Atkins.

This movie is filled with crazy and over the top kills so picking a favorite kill is kind of a hard thing to do. That said, I'm thinking Tom Atkins getting a pickaxe through the bottom of his chin and then getting his jaw ripped off may take the slasher cake. Which kill from MY BLOODY VALENTINE 3D is YOUR favorite? Let us know below!

Here's the synopsis:

Ten years ago, an inexperienced coal miner named Tom Hanniger (Jensen Ackles) caused an accident that killed five men and put a sixth, Harry Warden, into a coma. A year later, on Valentine's Day, Harry woke up and murdered 22 people with a pickaxe before dying. Now Tom has returned home, still haunted by the past. And something else is back in Harmony: a pickaxe-wielding killer in a miner's mask, who may be the ghost of Harry, come to claim Tom and his friends.

MY BLOODY VALENTINE 3D was directed by Patrick Lussier from a screenplay written by Todd Farmer and Zane Smith based on the 1981 script written by John Beaird from a story by Stephen Miller. Jack L. Murray produced this remake and it stars Jensen Ackles, Jaime King, Kerr Smith, Betsy Rue, Megan Boone, Kevin Tighe, Todd Farmer, Richard John Walters, and Tom Atkins.
