The Predator adds Alfie Allen, and actually DOES take place in suburbia?!

Okay a bit of truth time here on the AITH news feed. I have not seen one single episode of HBO'S titties and dragons TV series GAME OF THRONES. I know, I know. How does that happen? I couldn't tell you to be honest. I also don't watch THE WALKING DEAD

What can I say, enough peeps tell me everything that happens every week (especially WALKING DEAD) that I guess I feel no need to actually sit down and watch the episodes myself.

Anyway, the reason I bring this up is that when I heard the news that this dude Alfie Allen had joined the cast of the currently filming Shane Black flick THE PREDATOR, I was like, "Oh, it's the little douche kid from JOHN WICK!" And everyone was like, "Dude, he's from GAME OF THRONES."

Anyhow, the news story I'm supposed to be sharing here is about the John Wick puppy-killer dipsh*t (the character, not the actor) being cast in THE PREDATOR. So, yeah, he's been cast.

All being a d*ck aside, I do know some details about who the guy will be playing in the film. Supposedly, and this comes from a reputable source, it turns out THE PREDATOR comes to earth after his wife dies of some kind of sadness disease, and she bought him a space-puppy, and this dude Allen likes Predator's ship --

Okay. Sorry. Enough. Here is the real deal, for real.

Allen will play an ex-Marine who teams with several other outsiders, including one played by Holbrook, to stop the human-hunting creatures in a setting that hasn’t yet been seen in a Predator movie: suburbia.

Suburbia?! That's pretty badass. I hope this ends up being true because there has been mucho news that Black himself has said the flick DOES NOT take place in suburbia.

But that's what he WOULD say, huh...

THE PREDATOR began shooting Monday in Vancouver, with Boyd Holbrook, Jacob Tremblay, Sterling K. Brown, Keegan-Michael Key, Trevante Rhodes, Thomas Jane and Olivia Munn. Black co-wrote the script with Fred Dekker and is directing.

Extra Tidbit: PREDATOR was one of the first R-rated movies I ever saw.
