The Strangers 2 wraps filming; here’s who plays the three killers!

It's good news, potentially lame news time for THE STRANGERS 2 here at AITH.

A few months back we shared the news that the new flick might be changing up the casting of the three masked killers is the sequel. That news upset me a tiny bit because I'm (mostly) of the mindset that even though a killer's face may be hidden in a slasher/horror flick, the actor under said mask was half the magic. Just imagine if Nick Castle would have continued to play the shape in the HALLOWEEN series.

Anyhow, today we have news, via Brad and B-D, that not only has filming wrapped on the newest entry in THE STRANGERS series, but we now know who will be playing the maniacs under the masks. And they are not the original cast…

The new line-up includes Emma Bellomy as Dollface, Lea Enslin as Pin-Up Girl and Damian Maffei as The Man in the Mask. 

If you need a quick refresher, the original trinity of terrorizers line-up went like this: Gemma Ward as Dollface, Laura Margolis as Pin-Up Girl, and Kip Weeks as The Man in the Mask. Now maybe these actors were just too busy. I like to think so.

The three new masked killers join the already announced cast of Christina Hendricks, Bailee Madison (see below), Lewis Pullman, and Martin Henderson, and with filming wrapped we can expect to hear more from the sequel over the next few months so make sure to stay tuned to AITH!

The Strangers 2 synopsis:

A family whose road trip takes a turn when they arrive at a secluded mobile home park and after the power goes out they decide to hunker down for the night in a borrowed trailer. Under the cover of darkness, three familiar masked psychopaths pay them a visit to test their every limit. 

THE STRANGERS 2 is directed by Johannes Roberts (THE OTHER SIDE OF THE DOOR) from a script written by Bertino (who wrote/directed the original) and Ben Ketai. The film stars Christina Hendricks, Bailee Madison, Lewis Pullman, Martin Henderson, Emma Bellomy, Lea Enslin, and Damian Maffei.
