The Strangers director Bryan Bertino scores three for thriller Mockingbird

We all know there's a STRANGERS sequel in the works but that doesn't mean Bryan Bertino can't have other projects to look forward to! One of those projects is MOCKINGBIRD.

The Hollywood Reporter's Heat Vision blog just dropped the news that Todd Stashwick, Audrey Marie Anderson, and Alexa Lydon have all just signed on to star in the thriller, which is coming our way courtesy of Blumhouse Productions and Universal.

The project tells the story a couple who are given a camera and a set of instructions. They must carry out what's on the document or someone will die.

Stashwick (right) will play the husband while Anderson (below) plays his wife. Lydon's part is unknown. Jason Blum is producing alongside Adrienne Biddle, Marc Platt, Adam Siegel and Bryan Bertino.

So there you have it folks! MOCKINGBIRD is set to start filming next month in Los Angeles so hopefully we'll hear more from this one soon.

Extra Tidbit: MOCKINGBIRD was formerly known as RED BALLOONS.
