New teasers for The Dark Tower are stronger than most

Last Updated on August 5, 2021

"I'm stronger than most."

Yeah, you got that shite right, Gunslinger. I am counting down the days until I can finally rush to the theater and check out the feature adaptation of Stephen King's epic novel series, THE DARK TOWER. From all the footage we have seen thus far, I'm more than down with the film's approach to the material – meaning the movie seems to be a sequel to the novels as opposed to a literal adaptation.

As if I couldn't be more excited, today we three all-new teasers for the film. Well, all-new isn't really the best way to describe it as the first two have little in the way of new footage, but the third is a mini-blast.

The first features The Man in Black taunting The Gunslinger, telling him that "Death always wins." While the second showcases The Gunslinger giving us his "I don't kill with my gun" motto.

My favorite of the three, however, comes at the end of the third teaser, where a team of doctors tell The Gunslinger he should be f*cking dead from all the injuries he sustained during some unseen battle – to which he replies, "I'm stronger than most."

Hell. Yeah.

You can check out all three new teasers below and then let us know how excited YOU are for THE DARK TOWER on Facebook, Twitter, and/or Instagram!

THE DARK TOWER film synopsis:

There are other worlds than these. Stephen King's The Dark Tower, the ambitious and expansive story from one of the world's most celebrated authors, makes its launch to the big screen.  The last Gunslinger, Roland Deschain (Idris Elba), has been locked in an eternal battle with Walter O'Dim, also known as the Man in Black (Matthew McConaughey), determined to prevent him from toppling the Dark Tower, which holds the universe together. With the fate of the worlds at stake, good and evil will collide in the ultimate battle as only Roland can defend the Tower from the Man in Black.

THE DARK TOWER is directed by Nikolaj Arcel and stars Idris Elba, Matthew McConaughey, Tom Taylor, Fran Kranz, Jackie Earle Haley, Katheryn Winnick, and Abbey Lee.

THE DARK TOWER hits theaters nationwide August 4th.

I'm gonna start acting like that little brat from Willy Wonka if I don't get some Winnick/Lee action soon.
