Tobe Hooper & Stephen King's The Mangler 4K uncut Blu-ray details

Some may say that I'm crazy (and I believe them) but one of the Stephen King tales I'd like to see rebooted the most is his short story THE MANGLER (Pre-order HERE). The story is hilariously dark and gory as all hell, and I think a director with the right sense of sinister satire could really make it sing. But as it stands, until the day someone greenlights THE MANGLER REBORN... AGAIN! I guess we'll all just have to keep pretending Tobe Hooper's adaptation starring Robert Englund is, you know, a good movie.

It's not.

But all the same, the movie is a load of fun and today we have word that Scream Factory is bringing the mini-classic to Blu-ray for the first time with a 4K print of the original camera negative from the uncut version this December! The release also contains several new bonus features, including a new audio commentary with co-writer Stephen David Brooks, a new interview with actor Robert Englund, rare behind-the-scenes footage, and more!

You can check out all the bonus materials below along with the Blu-ray cover art and then make sure to hit us up and let us know if you plan to snag a copy of Tobe Hooper's adaptation of Stephen King's THE MANGLER starring Robert Englund on Blu-ray below!
